Detail & Resolution
Just because you can hear more details or more clearly hear differences ,dosen’t mean it’s a better speaker if it can’t reproduce the right tonality of recorded music.
Fore example if you more clearly can hear the differences between the 12 Stradivarius that Janine Jansen play at the record 12 Stradivari. Dosen’t mean it’s a better speaker if it can’t reproduce the right tonality of the voilone.

How it works
You can increase the amount of detail by increasing the treble level or lower the tweeter crossover frequency. Because the tweeter has less mass than the midrange-mid-woofer = higher speed/transient response. It just highlights the overtones or puts more focus on them. But you lose the overall tonal balance, between the fundamental and the overtones.
And then we are not talking about reproducing music, we are producing music with a different color than it was originally intended to be.
We want you to listen to music – not loudspeakers.
